I took them out to see it in case none sticks overnight. Anya was thrilled, and Ezra a little baffled. He kept pointing at the sky and saying, "Ahh? Oooh!" After about 20 minutes Anya announced that it was freezing cold and we're watching from the windows now.
Wish us luck. the weather gurus (hah) do not so much have predictions as a grab bag of probabilities. We should/might have some snow, followed by freezing rain/sleet/nothing/more snow, etc.
Or nothing might happen. However, the afternoon predictions are fairly clear about expecting a half inch of precipitation, so that's pretty good.
I want enough snow or sleet or something to keep me from getting to the office, but not so much that I can't get to a store if I want to. Like Knitch. I'd like to be able to get to Knitch.
They were buying rock salt when I stopped by to pick up my needles because they plan to be open. And they got a new shipment of yarn today. I saw a preview of some of the stuff she ordered at the California show to come in for the spring - it's gorgeous.
if i wasn't so tired that i thought i would drive into a ditch, i'd pack the kids up and head north so they could spend a few minutes playing in the snow and then declare it cold and want to go home.
