I'm so pleased!

The little tomato seedlings I started back in April have produced fruit! I have an assortment of very immature Roma, Beefsteak, and Big Boy tomatoes growing.

My pepper plants are growing well, and have just started to flower. I hope they are fruitful as well!

I can't wait to cook with 'em all. :D

We bought planter boxes for our balcony but have been lazy about doing anything with them. I'm jealous!

Mmmmm...

We were so dry that our tomatoes have done nothing. It is getting wetter now but the night temps are on the higher end to be setting fruit. *sigh* I will be better planned for next year.

I'm having to water mine every other day if we don't have rain. It's been so dry this year. :/

Luckily, food crops are exempt from watering restrictions, and I don't feel guilty since we'll use these for food. Any that don't get used by us will be given to a local food bank.

congratulations on your tomato babies! we have one teeny tiny kada tomato. it's from old seeds, so i don't remember exactly, but i think it's some kind of plum tomato.
