I thought the carpal tunnel was all gone, but any time I need to write for more than a few minutes or crochet for a few, my hand goes numb.

This sucks.

If Katie had been our first child, she would have been an only child.

Just sayin'.

I'm not on the ledge, I promise.

It's just a rough time for me. My mom's mental capacities are going downhill pretty rapidly, we have family coming in town in a couple of weeks, and the lack of sleep are dogpiling on me.

For those who are wondering, I'm going back and rereading The No-Cry Sleep Solution . I am mostly through with The High Needs Baby by Sears, and I'm balancing that with The Nasty Bits by Bourdain. Right now, I'm misanthropic towards everyone but my babies. ;)

Seriously, I have faith it will get better. It has to, right? Katie's almost 11 months old. She's able to speak a few words, and she's creeping and trying to kill herself pretty regularly. Tonight, she was trying to stage dive off the couch while I was getting a couple of minutes of reading in.
