Jan. 24th, 2006 11:08 amThe Renewed-Death-Morning-Sickness continues unabated. The doctor had no good solutions beyond the standard "up your B6 and B12" and "eat lots of little meals." Grr. I know there are medications for those people that can keep nothing down, but there's not a good solution for "You're ill 2x a day, and the rest of the time, you are feeling like death on a hot plate.
Last night, I tried to go to bed early to make up for the previous night's four hours of sleep. After having my stomach beat the hell out of me for an hour, I decided to go have a small snack of Ritz crackers and a wee slice of cheese. (This will you how sick I felt - I rarely eat cheese, unless on Italian food.) I waited for 90 minutes to have my stomach calm a bit. I finally just gave up, cleaned out the kitchen sink, and puked. I mixed up a pitcher of Gatorade, drank 12 oz, and headed for bed.
As I stepped in the bedroom, I heard a quiet "I'm so sorry." I chuckled and told Tom that this was only partially his fault.
(I'm trying to just fight the nausea constantly as to not allow myself to get dehydrated and bring on more contractions. However, this is much, much harder than it would seem.)
Edit - I've already cycled through all the suggestions from Amelia's pregnancy - ginger, dill, crackers, lemon drops, etc.
