Therapy fodder!
Feb. 14th, 2007 11:45 amLast night, we all sat down to eat dinner. Katie was in the high chair, enjoying some Trader O's cereal, while Tom, Amelia, and I ate pork chops and baked potatoes. To be fair, "ate" only applied to the adults. Amelia proceeded to throw the mother of all fits, even though she was hungry. She demanded her watch, her ball, and everything that wasn't involved with dinner. We kept trying to redirect her to sit down and eat. (The rule is that everyone sits and eats dinner together, period. If you're not hungry, fine. You still sit there.)
She was just out of control, so she got to go to bed hungry. Tom tucked her into bed and let her know we loved her, but she needed to be nice to Mommy and Daddy.
