Jun. 3rd, 2007 05:01 pmI spent the girls' nap time pruning my tomato plants then cutting wire mesh to fit around the plants. It was sweaty work (lots and lots of cuts with the tin snips), but I'm glad it is done. I fear I overpruned though.
This has been a pleasantly busy weekend. A lot of small projects have been tackled around the house, and we met some out-of-town friends for dinner last night. After dinner, we took the pack of kids to rampage at Chuck E Cheese. I really find those places Hell on Earth on a weekend.
I will get around to doing a write-up of Florida in the next day or so. In short, it was a very good and restful trip. However, it did convince us to fly to South Dakota instead of drive. (We are heading up next month, because it's been six years since we've been to visit T's mother up in her neck of the woods.)
