loucheroo let me know that the Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs had announced a new brick and mortar retailer. This one happens to be 3 miles from my house. :)  I've been trying to get by there for the last couple of weeks, but I was just spent.  Now that things are more normalized, I'm full of verve.

While running errands this morning, I had to stop by Whole Foods in Roswell for ... um...onions! Yeah, onions!  While I was there, I took a look at the scents they had available for sniffing and sale. There were only 12 available (but they'll special order anything you want off the website).  Some of the scents (e.g. Shub-Niggurath and Alice) really did nothing for me. Unsurprisingly, I love Morocco ("Arabian spices wind through a blend of warm musk, carnation, red sandalwood and cassia.") I'm thinking about Mouse's Long and Sad Tale ("Vanilla, two ambers, sweet pea and white sandalwood."), and I may have to go buy...apples!...and get a bottle of that. Snake Oil ("A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.") was attractive but they were sold out.

If you do go by this Whole Foods, they'll give you a 10% discount on the oils if you mention you saw the notice in the BPAL forums. The prices are $2.99 higher than the website, but you get the instant gratification and no shipping charges! ;)

I've been a lover of BPAL for 3 years now, but I'm not very vocal about it. I guess it's because I keep the same 10 oils and don't engage in the massive Internet sharing.  I just don't have the time to get to the post office that often!
